As indicated in the last WOTW, I’ve been looking forward to getting out on the hills – it has been great to do so, even if one of the descents was a bit challenging, not in the least because I am somewhat less fit than I used to be!

As I start thinking about our return to Cambodia, I am so grateful for so much we’ve been able to enjoy during the last 6 months: times with family and those who have partnered with us so faithfully in the

last 4 years, foods we’ve missed, fun places we’ve visited, good health facilities, drinking water from the tap, safe transport on good roads, cool weather, no mosquitoes and clean feet.

As we return for another 2 year period (we’re not sure what lies beyond that at the moment), it is good to be going back knowing a bit of what awaits us. Whilst we will miss much, we also look forward to what is ahead – it will be great seeing friends in Cambodia again and having the opportunity to get back into the work that God has for us there, and as previously, the experience will be a rich and a blessed one, even though at times rather challenging.

I look forward to seeing many of you again in a couple of years…
